Year Six

Year 6 at Field View

Your child’s final year at Field View will prepare them for their end of year SATs. Year 6 is a very important year educationally, but also a year full of new and exciting challenges that we are sure your child will enjoy. Within Year 6, we will take your child on an exciting journey, where we will further develop their independence and support them with transition to secondary school. Children will have the opportunity to go on exciting trips including a two night residential. In year 6, your child will be provided with a laptop which they are able to use both in and out of school. They also have the opportunity to become prefects and a Head Boy and Head Girl is nominated by the class. These children support staff with jobs around school in break and lunchtimes and act as role models for the rest of the school. During their time in Year 6, your child will make memories that will last a lifetime.
