Little Leaves is a stay and play group for children aged 0-3 years.

It takes place on a Thursday afternoon between 2pm and 3pm.

The informal group gives pre-school children the opportunity to play and make friends, and for parents to meet other parents, aswell as some of the Early Years Team, before their child starts nursery.

We have a variety of toys, aswell as creative activities and messy play.

The sessions start with time to play, followed by snack time, story time, and singing songs before the ‘goodbye song’ at 3pm (allowing parents to then collect older siblings from school).

We give children the opportunity to make cards for special days (such as Mothers’ Day, Fathers’ Day, Christmas…) and opportunities to explore throughout the year (such as decorating their own little Christmas tree, exploring inside a pumpkin, looking at daffodils in the spring, and even a visit from the Early Years ducks after they had hatched from their eggs!)

At the end of the year we have a ‘Graduation’ party for our friends who are off to nursery.

For further information, or to secure a place, please contact the school office.
